The field of vocabulary and lexicology is a broad and extensive discipline that discusses the meanings of individual words, their nuances, relationships, and how they are used in the Quran. Knowing the meanings of the words of the Holy Quran is one of the necessary tools for understanding the meaning of the verses of divine revelation. Arabic has various styles, and by recognizing these styles, one can access the subtleties and points of the Quran. This article, through analytical-descriptive examination and the method of collecting documentary and library research data, has studied the structure of two books: the "Mufradat" by Raghib Isfahani and the "Tafsir al-Kashaf" by Zamakhshari, which are of special importance in terms of lexical, vocabulary, and structural order. The results of this research indicate that both authors have used verses and traditions, the conditions of the era of revelation, Arabic poetry and proverbs, and the semantic aspects of the verses to discover the meaning of the word in the textual context of the Quranic verses. In some cases, such as the original meaning, usages, derivations, Raghib is more prominent, and in others, such as attention to the semantic aspects of the causes of revelation, discovering meaning from poetry, and attention to morphology and syntax, Zamakhshari is superior.
